Who We Are
Redeemer Church is all about Christ the Redeemer. We delightfully commend submission to Jesus as the path of every person’s greatest flourishing.
That means we love to Worship Christ through Christ-Centered congregational singing and Expositional Preaching that sees every verse in light of God’s complete redemptive story.
That means we love to Walk Together in robust relational community where safety and belonging lead to the exposing of deep heart idols where a humble-loving community can then faithfully practice the Biblical one-anothers and spiritual growth and real joy occurs.
That means we love to Work for the Good of the City because we believe as strangers and exiles on this planet we are called to use our gifts, our time, and our tables to serve our community, equip every member to do ministry where they are, and be part of God’s global mission to reach the nations with the eternity-altering message that Jesus came to save sinners.

Serving churches in CA and OH, Mark is a shepherd at heart. He loves seeing the Word of God produce Godly affections in the heart and robust relationships within the church community. He completed his doctorate at Westminster (’22) on that very subject – How Public Proclamation Fuels Private Conversation. Now, he’s seeking to have that be the culture of Redeemer Church. He and Michelle have been married for 31 years and have 7 adult children and 1 grandson. Mark and Michelle love to travel, and being avid tennis fans, their bucket list includes attending all 4 tennis grand slams. They have 1 to go!
